Q is finally starting to come into his own with his language skills and we can’t get enough. Kids do say the funniest things…we’ve just had to wait a little longer to hear him say them!
Q is walking backwards down the hall...
Me: Q - watch out for that wall behind you. I don’t want you to hit your head.
Q: It’s okay mama, I’m being so carefully.
Q: Where did we get him?
Me: Who? Avery?
Q: Ya.
Me: From my tummy. Do you remember when he was in my tummy?
Q: (thinks for a moment) Baby Avery can fit in my tummy.
Me: Really? Do you have a big tummy?
Q: Ya, and a big mouth too!
Me: Q, can i have a kiss? I’m going to work.
Q: Wait mama! Don’t go to work…I wanna miss you!
happy 2012! there is nothing like a new year to make you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. i love the “clean slate” feeling that the new year brings with it…like anything is possible. i know i’m ready to make some changes, start some new adventures (like this blog!) and generally kick ass.
